Some of my previous posts have talked about the importance of self-care for improving your physical health, mental health and overall well-being – and have provided some practical tips/strategies/ideas on how you can implement or improve your self care routine. After seeing the amazing Tony Robbins live, I learned that enthusiasm is fantastic but execution is essential. This post is about taking action.
Often people will decide they want to make changes, but find it difficult to implement and put into practice. For those people (and myself) I have designed a "30 day self care challenge", which focuses on three areas – "mind" "body" and "soul". Each day you will find a different activity to complete, which are designed to be fun and engaging, but most importantly – requires you to set time aside to focus on yourself!
I recommend starting a reflective journal prior to commencing the challenge so you can monitor how you're feeling throughout the 30 days, and can identify the activities that are helpful for you, and the ones that aren't.
If you're interested in participating – I have put together a little calendar that identifies what the daily activities are. Please click on the link below to access the calendar. If you have any trouble downloading the file, please send me a message with your email and I will email it to you in an attachment!
I would love to hear how you're going throughout the challenge so please if you feel comfortable, leave a comment or send me a message through the contact page.
Enjoy taking time out for yourself!
